15 selected students and teachers of English at Hanoi University have been chosen to complete their MA in Business Studies at Deakin University. These teachers will return to teach in the new business school at the university in Hanoi where all lessons will be taught in English.
The teachers have a BA in English studies from Hanoi University.
To familiarise themselves with learning in Australia the teachers have undertaken courses at Melbourne Institute of Business and Technology before studying at Deakin University.

Candidates were selected by Professor Vang, President of Hanoi University. Interviews were conducted by Gail Parr from the VAT project in Hanoi, Nicola Kent formerly of Deakin University and Colin Macfarlane.
The teachers have become enthusiastic supporters of our work and have visited the Computer Culture programme in Cairns and recently hosted Sere for a holiday in Melbourne.
Deakin University and MIBT have very generously discounted fees for this programme. Their generosity has allowed this ambitious project to succeed. A special thank you to Peter Campbell and Bev Hudson.
